Trajan Landon/David Griffin has to make some moves during the break. Current roster is terrible.
FIVE OBSERVATIONS
- Adams is only effective defensively if he has at least one foot in the paint at all times. Get him out his comfort zone and he shows his warts.
- For all those who question why SVG is playing only eight players a game, I think we can now put that question to bed.
- Kelly Olynyk was a player I advocated for last year before he exercised his player option for 12.5MM. Guess who is an UFA this year?
- What did H'Gomez do to get benched entirely?

This game makes me question the long term fit with the Zion/Ingram tandem defensively. Team covers a lot more ground defensively with 3 perimeter oriented player on the court while hiding Ingram on a stationary spacer.
Is it me or does Melli look to be a solid defender? I felt like he didn’t give anything easy.
In fairness to him, he does play good team defense; one on one...not as much.
BI should have way more than six shots by now.

It’s really the Ingram Zion Adams combo that really really struggles guarding perimeter play.
