I hate the body language from some of these Pelicans players. Too much moping after a mistake or a miss.

unfortunately, this logic holds true for about 28 other teams too.... he would sure fit well here though...

    You're right.

We can't guard anyone so we should just trade for all their best players so there's no one left to score on us. It's novel, but ambitious.

Defense is a lost art in today’s NBA and it’s sad to see.

Half the league can't even trade draft capital for him though, we'd have to be in the upper echelon of suitors just by default.

    EDIT: Misread that

In 28 minutes thus far, Zion has 2 Rebounds; one offensive and one defensive.

Yeah I think I'd be pretty comfortable trading as many as 4 first for him as long as they weren't all our firsts.

Like if we gave them 2 of the Milwaukee picks, a Lakers, pick, and one of our own or something.

Joel accidentally said Beal made a layup when it was Bledsoe. Hope it’s future timeline cross contamination.

He's great though. I've been super reluctant to commit to the ''trade for Beal'' train because of his last two seasons of being legitimate garbage-fire on defense but I think at a certain point you just have to credit him with the ridiculous scoring, the off-ball skills that tell you he'll retain offensive value alongside other stars, and the fact that he's been such a team player on such a terrible team.

The reluctance has to fade at some point and I think we're all at that point where everyone acknowledges Beal needs a trade, and everyone also knows the Pels need a switchup at guard, so it all makes sense.

Did Ball get injured or benched?

    Pels finishing strong

Zion and BI have combined for 64 points on 35 shots.

    That's good, by the way.

    They're 24/35 from the floor for 68.7%

If we can manage to scoop him up and keep NAW/Kira, mannnnnn, we'd be set for the future so good.

Not even sure our defense would take a huge hit if we swapped Lonzo/Bled for him. They get lit up by every semi-talented guard in the league.

Turned his ankle. Then a trainer locked him in a closet so he couldn’t come back out.
