Awesome 1st quarter for the pelicans. They are getting better, its just taking awhile.

JAX has really picked up his game. Number won't show it, but he is very active on the defensive end.

They didn't like being beat last time, by the team that use to be in New Orleans. I know they don't know about that.

Up 12 after the first quarter is never bad. We shot 8/11 from 3, and we're unlikely to continue at quite that rate, but it's a great start and when you have someone like BI so on fire early it often makes defenses pay them that extra attention that makes it easier on everyone else.

Oh yeah, and Zion hasn't even really gotten going yet. If we can get him rolling along with Ingram's bounce back game, this could be good.
