This time SVG isn't picking the roster.
Griffin did. Crazy how we give up nothing but open looks but it looks like every single shot we take is either a bad off the dribble pull up or contested from 3.
THe Jazz makes everything but the Pelicans can't make anything. Are these real basketball players?
Can't really blame either. Lonzo was a 38% three point shooter last year: 0/5 tonight. Redick is a career elite shooter, he's been terrible all year. Ingram is one of our best shooters from 3, he hasn't taken any tonight, preferring to dribble into midrangers. Not really sure how Stan is supposed to make Lonzo hit the shots, not really sure why Griff was supposed to expect Redick to evaporate.

Also, gonna point this out because it's a perennial problem for this team.
How do you go so long without Zion getting shots. Like, obviously when he's sat, he's sat, but when he's 8/12 or whatever he was earlier, how do you then decide to just not go back to him for three minutes of game time? What's the rationale there? It happens nearly every game, where he'll have a span of putting up points in bunches when everyone remembers he exists and tehn they all just decide not to pass to him for a few minutes and SVG runs nothing.
This is not a fluke game. We suck like this every night.
Keep Kira, NAW, Ingram, Jax, Zion, and Adams. Literally everyone else can just go away.
