This team is not gonna lay down for us.

Our bench is 3/11 for 6 points in 31 minutes so far.

    Not great!

We don’t put any pressure on their defense. Screen and get the mismatch!!!

Also, we clearly can’t shoot. We need to move quickly up the court. It really shows when Zo isn’t in the game.

will we ever see kira unless its garbage time?

We're playing a lineup of midgets with Ingram on the bench and we can't play through Zion somehow smdh

We're so much better when Adams is on the floor, man

It's one of the most frustrating things about this team early in the season. Zion is usually an afterthought on offense. Tons of possessions where he gets parked up in the corner and never touches the ball every game.

BI and Zo are the only two players that are able to take advantage of an Adam’s screen.

Everyone else is terrible at it... including Zion.

    NAW is Austin Rivers 2.0

Zion need to learn how to take a jump shot once ever 3 games. He’s too predictable.

True, but right now the alternative (JJ) is shooting 3's like Mark Eaton.

He's literally not getting the ball until the 2nd or 3rd action of every play. Inexcusable.

Also, taking one jump shot every 3 games would have literally zero impact on how teams played him, even if he shot 100% on them.*

*Of course if he shot 100% on jumpers he should take more than 1 every 3 games, but that's not the situation being discussed.

I think part of that is the scheme, in some respects we play similar to the Bucks defensively.... which I'm not sure is a good thing, particularly for a young, inexperienced team.

Ingram feasting off of.... checks notes.....

    Adam’s
    Pick and roll from
    The perimeter.

    Rocket science.

Yeah, I mean, before we can focus on Zion taking a whopping jumper a game, let's focus on actually getting him the ball and seeing what he does with it consistently.

Zion will take J's when he's ready to take them.. It's that simple.. I remember arguing with Laker fans on a different board about Ingram not taking more 3's. When these guys are comfortable taking those shots they will take them.

Zion will develop that aspect of his game I'm sure. Until then he should continue to do what he does well.

Switch to ESPN at half and check out the Heat's Uniforms.

No, there's nothing wrong with your flat screen.

We're definitely coasting on talent right now. I think our defense has had some patches but has overall been promising, mostly just from internal growth from our young guys. It's the offense that's really concerning, we need to employ more motion/off-ball movement, guys need defined roles, and to be put in the best position to succeed. Less ISO-ball (particularly at the end of games), more Zion-centric stuff, less Bledsoe/JJ in general, more NAW/Kira (even though NAW sorta sucks rn). It's easier said than done, I get that, but at a certain point Stan's going to have to make adjustments.
