He's looking good for your garden variety gym bro, but I'd expect a world class athlete to have closer to 10% bodyfat than 20%

And with that amount of bodyfat I'd expect more muscle mass

Look at Bledsoe, same amount or maybe a little more bulk than Zion but a lot more cut

Duke Zion was jacked as ********

He's proud of his body. I see the flex.

There'll be 20 videos on YouTube analyzing this.

There's nothing particularly impressive about Zion's physique for a gazillionaire athlete, who has all the time and resources on his hands to build the best body possible

He's eating properly and lifting regularly, but I don't see any signs of heavy conditioning work like a Jrue would have been doing

How in the world can you determine someone's body fat from a photograph?

Was watching the video and there's plenty of tell tale signs to determine a range of percentages

Can't tell if this is tongue in cheek or just as arrogant and lame as it sounds

    Take a look at Bledsoe

That's what muscle and low(ish) body fat looks like

Zion does not have low body fat right now. It's way better, but in no ways is it low

Nor is it anywhere near his peak

Bledsoe is legitimately one of the top 5-10 most fit players in the league

They literally called him Baby Lebron because of his muscle definition

Do you think Bron and Bledsoe magic'd their physiques out of thin air?

We already know how good Zion can look from his Duke days with much lower bodyfat probably a bit more muscle

Somehow he got super chubb last season and he's still trying to come back from that

There's nothing particularly impressive about where he is now, coming from where he was in the context of an athlete being paid 100 million

There is no way to tell a player's body fat from a photo. Not to mention you are comparing two completely different body types and sizes.

PSA: Our players are still super young. Let's not expect the conditioning physique or skill level of players in their prime.
    Good positive energy.

    But also, yo mama's fat.

Duke Zion - "Do I mean nothing to you?"

    Obviously massive conditioning issues here

The amount of rose coloured glasses stuff that goes on is pretty disturbing

Ridiculous. He looks in shape to me. Totally different body types you're trying to compare also.

Let's see if he's winded during games.

This place has seriously gone down the tubes last few days.

First we got JJ is a better scorer than BI, Lebron, Harden, Kyrie, and Durant... because 3 point pull ups.

And Zion is needs to get his fat arse back in the gym...because pictures.

    I can't anymore.

If Zion is winded after 20 minutes, then yeah sure it matters. Personally I think it is a bit assuming to think he isn’t in excellent shape considering everything we have heard so far. Zion’s stocky build is natural- that is just how he is built. He doesn’t look like that because he has a Twinkie addiction. I expect great things. He just needs to avoid hurting himself trying to do too much.

Let's be honest... Nutrition is literally like understanding black magic and everyone try to a be a wizard when magic isn't real.

And that perfectly sums it up.

Former Bulls General Manager, Gar Forman, added to Pelican Front Office. He will be running the Scouting Department under Griff and Langdon's supervision.

Smells of a friend of Griffin's being given a job. Not sure he was highly thought of in Chicago during his time there.
