    SVG - Four Minutes ago

    Will Guillory: SVG says the team has been able to get some 5-on-5 work in for the first time the past few days. Said a few different guys have stood out, but described Zion as 'overwhelming' when he gets to play downhill and make plays for his teammates 4 mins ago ? via Twitter WillGuillory

    ```
    Also, JJ very impressed with Kira's shooting so far.
    Love that SVG described Zion as being ''overwhelming''. That's exactly what we want. When he has the ball in his hands, slashing to the rim, the response of the defense should be nothing but panic.
    Basketball.
    New JJ podcast with Chris Paul has some great stuff. A lot of talk about developing chemistry. This will be such an important year from a chemistry development standpoint for BI and Zion.
    Lol
    For those without insider.
    ESPN predicted player rankings going in to 20-21 training camp:
    19. Zion
    28. Ingram
    33. Jrue
    54. Zo
    67. Bledsoe
    70. Adams
    That's some interesting predictions that I don't agree with.
    Good positive energy.
    But also, yo mama's fat.
    Move Bledsoe up to 54, Adams to 67, Zo to 70. Call it a day
    Man, twitter's not gonna like this
    Real talk tho, Bledsoe isn't 30 spots worse than Jrue. There aren't 70 better players than Adams on planet earth and Zo in particular is not one of them. All sorts of wrong with this list.
    A little higher on Adams than you are but yeah, something like that.
    Good to see JJ talk about Kira's shooting being impressive. I actually had to go back and forth arguing about his shooting potential here. Back when I was the lone wolf for taking Kira at 12 (eventually 13).
    And Theresa Weatherspoon drilling him on those handles tells me this staff knows what its doing.
    It's an awful list.
    Zion is great: he's not a top 20 player already.
    Trae Young is listed higher than Kyle Lowry which is pretty funny.
    Lonzo is not even close to being better than Bledsoe or Adams, or John Collins who he's also ranked higher than. Meanwhile, DeRozan (a highly flawed player but still good) is ranked 77th: for all of his flaws, in what Universe is Derozan 23 spots worse than Lonzo Ball for Christ's sake?
    It's terrible
    Chris Paul: 6'1"...175# (today)
    Kira Lewis: 6'3"...165#
    CP3 @ Wake Forest: 2 Years: 63 games; 33.5 mins per; 15.0 ppg; 47.2%; 6.3 Assists; 3.9 rebounds. Left college at 20 years old
    KL13 @ Alabama: 2 Years; 65 games; 34.5 mins per; 15.9 ppg; 44.7%; 4.0 Assists; 3.6 rebounds. Left college at 19 years old.
    It would be nice to strike gold again.
    Interesting factoid on CP3: In 1,129 games played in the NBA (including playoffs), he has started every game. He has never come off the bench.
    Keep in mind that the ESPN rankings is their PREDICTION of how they think next season will go. I still think BI edges out Zion and Adams is way too low but it isn't their current rankings.
    Agreed. And I saw you and that assessment. You're on track to having the best 2020 draft prediction.
    Not trying to call you out or say Lonzo is better, but isn't John Collins like the worst defensive player in basketball?
    Oh there were more if you go back and look at that draft thread. Even Daniel Oturu.
    But I'll leave it there. People get real salty if you rub their nose in it.
    OMG, you are correct AusPel. It is night and day. Obviously it's way early to judge, but i'm so much more confident we have a coach who has a plan.
    Absolutely not he's pretty bad on D there's no doubt about that, but he's not even the worst defensive player in his own starting lineup *cough* Trae Young *cough*.
    You can look at Zion’s neck and see a difference in his build.
