Thread: Truncated Offseason Thread

The Hornets are going to be decent this year!

PJ Washington, Devote' Graham, Gordon Hayward, Miles Bridges, there's some decent players there. If you're the type who believes in LaMelo then throw him in as well.

Not saying they're gonna win 40 games or anything (they won't) but they probably won't be quite as awful as they've generally been.
    Basketball.

    I like Aron Baynes
    I like Crowder

Myles Turner was a favorite of mine, but 45 million for two Bigs is a nope. That Steven Adam contract is so bad.

Oof heat getting better too. Especially if they resign crowder

Pretty disastrous offseason for Boston, not gonna lie.

Follows up a pretty awful draft with letting Hayward leave for nothing when they literally had a trade for Turner on the table for him. This is the year after they let Kyrie and Hayward walk for nothing, and refused to trade for AD. Which in itself was the year after they refused to trade for Kawhi.

Danny Ainge stays letting tradeable assets fly out the door for nothing and making bad choices.

Edit: Kyrie and Horford, sorry lol

Angie doesn't do trades unless he wins by a criminal margin on paper.

And he doesn't understand that sometimes you got to compromise to win a little.

We now have a Half Ton Pickup with a couple high powered Hemis:

    Adams: 285
    Williamson: 285
    Ingram: 195
    Ball: 190
    Bledsoe: 205

    Total 1,160

Win or lose, teams that play us, will know they played us.

    Hornets.

    F: PJ Washington
    F: Miles Bridges
    SF: Gordon Hayward
    G: Devonte Graham
    PG: LeMelo Ball
    6th: Terry Rozier

I think they would be best to run a small lineup like this and use their speed. Not a bad little team

Well, there's a video on the yt that supposedly shows a recent photo of Zion looking rather slimmed down quite a bit. But photos can always be deceiving.

I won't link it here because the channel is full of fake *** click bait. But it's somehow popular.

Yeah I seen the picture but I'll reserve my judgement until camp starts. Maybe even the season.

Damn Avery Bradley also likely takes less money to play in Miami, 2 years $11.6 mil. Pat Riley doing what he does.

I'm getting kind of annoyed with the lack of attention with wing depth.

  16. #491
same ******** every year where we never address wings

  17. #492
Danny Ainge maybe the most overrated GM ever

Someone from that group will not be on the team, if I understand the situation correctly. The Hornets have to trim $7.5m in payroll to be able to take on Heyward’s deal.

    Probably Melo

Why do you people care? They are not winning a championship this year. If the main complaint in wing depth, then that's great. Have a ton of ammo to address that some other time.

Still got some decent wings available via FA. also as slow as the market is for Bledsoe, he's still a trading chip.
