I mean that happens to any coach. Gentry probably is about to retire but let's not be petty Kushner.

I'm remembering the time when Alvin called a time out that we didn't have as all of his assistant coaches were yelling at him not to. Then there was the time that the ball was rolling out of bounds and it would have been a turnover and Pelicans ball, but Gentry for some reason decided to grab the ball before it rolled out of bounds, resulting in a t and Pelicans losing possession.

    Ah, good times.

Reading this thread, someone would think Ball and Okafor were absolutely terrible and NAW played decent.

This game didn't matter. So rather than judging the overall quality and outcome, the more important way to use it was to evaluate players who have to make decisions on. NAW has years left on his rookie deal and costs nothing, and was therefore not the focus of attention.

Lonzo is a focus of attention because next year he earns $11m and we have to make a decision on whether to either let him go, trade him, or pay him even more than that. So paying close attention to him is important.

And he played pretty well (even though the game was meaningless). Reading here, it seemed he had another terrible game.
