25th July - New Orleans Pelicans VS Denver Nuggets - SCRIMMAGE

After taking a resounding landslide victory over the Ghost of the Brooklyn Nets in our first scrimmage we move into the second one, this time against the Denver Nuggets who had have a bit of hype about them due to the first game appearance of Bol Bol. He shot badly and had a thousand turnovers but he also blocked shots and Was Tall And Fun To Look At so lots of people have decided he's basically Jesus already.

That's not to diss him, I supported drafting him as early as the teens for the upside, but the reaction has been a bit silly.

In any case, no need for a ton of detail, it's just a scrimmage.

Let's have fun, win or lose, and be grateful that we're seeing basketball!

Pelicans offense showing some of Bol's defensive issues there. Lost in space, huge turning radius, really off balance. Jrue faked him out of his shoes and then he immediately sank into the paint not even looking at where the ball went.

Now, I know that we're obviously playing the dismantled fragments of teams, but it's still cool.
