NBA Potential Free Agents Pelicans could be looking at for next season

Now Adam Silver is talking charity basketball games somewhere. I’m guessing this season is about done. I did see an article at potential free agents. Feel free to add names

Yea, as soon as I heard that the players weren't allowed to work out or practice at the team facilities, I figured it was over.

I assume that we'll match whatever offer Brandon Ingram gets, and I assume we won't move Jrue Holiday. With that in mind, I think the most important player we we may lose is Derrick Favors. So I'd look at getting a center. Marc Gasol is a pipe dream and probably too expensive, but I think he would pair up pretty well with Zion.

I think we'll probably end up running it back for the most part. Unless Favors wants prohibitive money, I can see him returning; most of the teams with cap space aren't really in the market for a centre, especially one that can't shoot, so I doubt he commands a huge sum to retain.

The health issues we've had, the relative success we had during the short span of time we were healthy, the disruption to the season, etc, I think it's fairly plausible that we just keep things largely the same and try again hoping for fewer disruptions.
    Basketball.

I think this season has shown that the biggest need is a wing with the size to match up with the Kawhi’s and LeBron’s. Obviously nobody is going to stop those guys, but just need someone to slow them down enough to avoid having to double when it gets thrown to those players in the post.

Looking at the potential free agent list, maybe someone like Jerami Grant or JaMychal Green who can also hit the 3 to help space on the other end.

JaMychal Green plays more as an undersized C than as a wing the majority of the time, and I don't see LAC giving him up for anything less than an exorbitant fee.

Grant is a better fit anyway, imo, given that he's capable of playing the 3, but again, he's the kind of player that I can't imagine Denver giving up given his fit within their system and his chemistry with Jokic. That's assuming he even hits free agency; he has a player option and there's not a huge amount of cash flying around this summer. He might just take the option and guarantee himself nearly $10m.

Don't necessarily disagree with either of those statements, although I believe Green also has a player option this summer so may not require any compensation to the Clips. I'm just identifying what I see as a clear need on this team. If the player to fill that need can only be acquired through a trade, we should certainly have the assets to pull the trigger. Make it happen Griff!

How about 2 bigs? I like the idea of Noel

Per report Ingram going nowhere. Which is good news.
