    NICE JRUE. NICE!

Turnover. Missed dunk. Does not come back on D and they hit a 3.

REAL NICE BUD! Glad we kept you. Real glad!

Jrue gets fouled on another drive, no call.

I remember being a little kid, sitting on the floor with my dad watching NWA wrestling. I was amazed by it. He laughed a lot and called it his "cartoons". I never understood that until i got older. To be honest, "Soap Opera" is a better word, but in a lot of cases, "Cartoon" fits also. We both liked Sting. I'm not sure who else he liked though.

Why does the coach of the Pelicans constantly make subs that don’t matchup well with the opponents lineup?

The report is going to say back away, give Zion space and just swipe straight down at the ball when he goes up.

I wonder what Zion's eventual counter will be. Pull up early and add the floater to his shot list? Euro step? Spin into a gather? A ball fake would be my bet. Relatively simple and something that makes it harder to knock loose.

He's better than he's shown. His timing still isn't fully there yet.

Don’t listen to this. He sticks up for Jrue on this key fact using advance statistics. Even though most people watch him pass and throw up the WTF flag.

Desperately need Alvin to play Zion with Melli for real minutes at some point here.

This the kind of test we need. See how far we need to go. Zion already learning and countering the scouting report on the hand swipes

Wrestling is the exact intersection between theatre and athletics. Roland Barthes, the philosopher and literary theorist, wrote a great essay on wrestling; admittedly, this was in the 50s so a lot has changed, but many of his fundamental observations still hold up. Surprisingly deep stuff going on in wrestling.

He had a great fake in college where he hit the hesi-spin to the opposite shoulder before reversing it. He'll probably add that as he gets more comfortable. His spin move in college was electric.

He's already shown off the fadeaway a few times early this season, so I wouldn't be surprised if that started making more regular appearances too.

You try telling that to a 6 year old.:P

Edit: Remember when Earthquake "broke" Hulk Hogan's ribs?

We wrote a letter to him!

Yeah, A friend and I wrote him a letter. We got a response too. But I'm sure it was some canned response from a WWF intern.:P

Feels like one of those games where taking the lead fells like a brick wall

Zion has been too loose with his handle. Add that to the kiddo's homework for the Summer

Dwight Howard is an effeminate flopper.

Big surprise. Okafor can't do anything but score in a slow paced offense. the exact thing we aren't.

I wish Jaxon Hayes had better understanding of defensive positioning and how to rebound...at all.
