Melli is a god this game. Taking up Ingrams slack big time.

  2. #127
Jrue just hit Melli again and now Melli is 6 FOR 6 from 3.
    Basketball.

  3. #128
Jrue, Zion, and Melli as a trio have just beaten Golden State into submission in this second half

Is it fair to say our team is playing at the level of say...a 3 or 4th seed?

Nah. OKC owns us and they are only the 6th seed.

Much better: YES. But not 4th seed better.

    In the first half? No.

    Second half? Yes.

I was begging Ingram to pass there and he made a GREAT little pocket pass to Jrue, love to see that.

What a passssss by BI! Wow!

I swear Hart has to just take that shot. Zion hit him perfect, he was open. The extra pass is nice but you pass it into a worse position and that's no good.

  11. #136
I forgive Ingram for that because it's justifiable that he thought it was a rebound, not a travel.

    Jrue swats Bowman

  13. #138
Ingram goes for the contested midranger and gets swatted

Games like this really make me question a max for Ingram.

    Maybe he's still hurt?

If Ingram doesn't play better this team won't make the playoffs..

I actually think he's still trying to figure out how to share the load with Zion.

Look at how his game dropped since Zion came onto the scene. His production sank a little.

Which is why I say a lot of it is on coaching as well.. Let those guys run pick n roll.. It would also help if he didn't have to get the majority of his opportunities in isolation. That's a lot to ask.

Does Jrue realize how important he is?

He plays liek crap we get the first half.

He plays average or better we get a 69-45 second half.

I am eyeballing this game as we speak. Lets go DETROIT!

  24. #149
Meanwhile, OKC buried San Antonio and the Wolves took an L to Denver.

Portland down 10 going into the 4th against Detroit.

  25. #150
Jrue picked up where he left off in Portland. It all stems from him being more decisive and securing his handle. All he needs to do really. When he slows down, he tends to make mistakes. He just needs to keep the tempo going and not lull himself to sleep on the dribble.
