Thread: 13th February - New Orleans Pelicans vs Oklahoma City Thunder - 23-31

People wanna complain about home crowds, but this team has been horrible at home for the last few years.

11-16 gonn be 11-17. No crowd is gonna show up to watch you lose and this is why our games aren't packed.

    Redick with another jumper.

If he was anywhere near his normal shooting tonight, we'd be much more in this game. He's now 4/11 from the floor. Still only 1/5 from 3.
    Basketball.

Jrue 1-4 at the line. Unacceptable

    Jrue and his free throws...

  5. #130
    Good drive from Jrue.

  6. #131
Down 98-93 going into the 4th.

This is still within reach. Will need good Zion minutes. 4 or 5 will not be enough; gotta play him more than that.

If we lose by 1 or 2. That lucky halfcourt 3 really burns.

With zion back no reason it should not be sold out. This team has one if the best young. Cores in the league. If the fans aren't going to get invested then idk ..pels reporter had to write on twitter after the blazers game for the fans to support the tean

Nah... Zion was a short term plug. Winning is the end all for crowd attendance.

Not a fan of the Zion 18 foot set shot.

When Paul is on the court, Jrue should be.
Why is this so hard for this coaching staff?

  12. #137
Zion gets caught. Shading on CP3 is all well and good but you can't shade too heavily or you get beat when he passes.

Uh not all plenty of teams lose or have way worse records than this team and the building is packed

Great screen off Zion there for the JJ three

  15. #140
    Excellent team D!

Lonzo and Nico almost force the steal, then Zion kills the drive, then Moore deflects the ball; shotclock violation

  16. #141
They called the defensive 3 on Adams!!!

  17. #142
    I really want this win!
Actual proof Greivis Vasquez can throw Anthony Davis an Alley-OOP on an (kinda) fastbreak!

When did Melli become an excellent defender? lol

  19. #144
Zion with the big offensive board and putback!

  20. #145
''When did Melli become Dikembe Mutombo?!'' - AD

That looked less DIkembe and more Duncan to me; all grounded, blocked it at the release point, super conservative.

  21. #146
Zion just went into Adams' chest and shoved him 8 feet back

Like someone described him, a bowling ball on a trampoline.

    For sure.

It's one thing to move Whiteside. He's big, he's heavy, but he's kind of soft.

Completely dislodging Adams, who usually behaves like a brick wall, is insane stuff.
