This team sucks at recognising interior mismatches, and even when they do recognise them, they suck at entry passes. It's infuriating.

Also annoys me when the person running that break doesn't seem to recognise that slamming on the brakes to lose your man is sometimes better than trying to force up an awkward, leaning circus shot.

Happens a lot. Often with Hart, actually; seems to be a thing with him.

I keep going back to it, because we've already shown in the past that it's something that the team can do.

But in preseason, we (famously, it got tons of coverage) ran some cool blade sets and dual screening actions for Zion. They got him the ball when he was already going downhill, and cleared space in the paint. He scored off them very easily, and made some nice passes off them too.

Since he's come back (now 6 games ago) we have not run a single one of those actions. Not once.

Why?

Makes no sense.. Ingram is also a much better player when you get him the rock on the move off of curls and off-ball screens.

Iso ball is fine at times but what we're seeing now is excessive.
