Too many people on one half of the court.

Awful possession. Ingram looked scared to shoot it almost, and then Redick just had no room at all so that turnover was inevitable
    Basketball.

Zion draws another foul! Great pass from Lonzo, again!

Zion's FT shooting so far this year has been weird. He was a 65% FT shooter or so in college, and he's shooting at what feels like 30% or something from the line. His biggest knock so far.

Hubie Brown just called Lonzo ''Lorenzo Ball''

Ok so, with the FT % this team has put up the last few games and the bad FT shooting in this game... the team needs to get their crap together at the line.

    Zion's good at basketball

Well... The good news BI isn't shooting us out of the game. The bad news is he isn't shooting at all.

I remember before the season started I pointed out how bad our team was overall at FT shooting (using Zion's college numbers, and obviously not expecting Ingram to jump up 18% ) and I said that we were going to lose games purely from how bad we were at FT shooting. I was told by several people that it didn't matter that much, and we'd be fine.

How many games have we lost by ''free-throw'' amounts now?

    It's like he's scared

Zion's played 11 minutes so far and he has 9 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists. He's on 40% shooting, but again, 3 of his misses were from those little tip ins so in terms of actual, real shot attempts he's 4/7 for more like 57%.

Had some decent defensive moments too, although he did get a big mixed up on a multi-screening action at the top of the key with Kemba.

    Good game so far.

I’d say at least 6. Would not be surprised that if we really looked at the numbers... it would be as high as 10-12.

Which... is completely inexcusable at this level.

    Needs to be addressed.

Does it feel like we're winning by double digits?
    Good positive energy.

    But also, yo mama's fat.

Good recognition of Zion to bounce that off a Celtic before going out.

Yep, 9pts, 7rbds, in 12 minutes for Zion in the first half. Good stuff.

Nope, because we're only winning by 9

5 players close to double digits before half time. That's winning basketball.

Something is wrong with Ingram’s hand. He’s holding it again today.

He hurt it a few games back and seems to be bothering him again.

    BI --> Melli --> Favors

Good feeding, passing up the contested 3 for the paint look, then passing up the paint look for the at-rim look. Passing up a decent shot for closer and closer attempts. That's what you want.

    Nuh uh! It's 12!

It just has a feel like it's slipping away. So weird.

Ok so HOT TAKE. Melli should be on the floor much more often with Favors, Hayes, and Zion.

He has drastically improved since the start of the season and deserves more time.

It feels weird because we have been unable to sustain a lead all season long.

The turnovers and terrible FT issues is killing us.

That's precisely what we need. A stretch big to pair with Zion.

I mean. It’s not rocket science. I was begging Gentry to put him in last game against Denver.

Right on que..... we pull him and go small. Relying on the 3 ball.

That shot was so bad, no one was ready to catch it.
