Gentry is the biggest thing, the area where it's clearest. It's impossible to think that Gentry is a great coach, imo. But the way that some of these media types absolutely refuse to entertain that Gentry has made any errors is kind of incredible. And what's worse, when there's a stupid line-up in the game, they will call it out, but when someone attempts to link that lineup to Gentry's choice, they suddenly go blind on the subject. Suddenly that connection is impossible.

So Kenrich runs out to set a screen and gets called for the illegal pick.

On the one hand, it's not Gentry's fault that Kenrich set a moving screen.
On the other, we had possession and the ability to take the closing shot of the game. Why on earth would you speed it up here? What's the point? You don't want to give the team with the lead another shot attempt.
Not even BI's fault, Gentry told him to speed it up, he just listened.
