Trust the Process for ...........Bronny James?

Got to admit the kid looks like his father. Do we stink for a couple of years till we can get this guy in a Pels uniform? Trust the Process? Is MSUFan right? Don’t you think Bronny and Zion would go good together? ESPN airing 13 more of his games!

    Not really interested.

He's not going to be an NBA player for several years: it's not like he's in this draft class, or even the next draft class, or even the draft class after that. I'm not interested in tanking for 4+ years just with the hope of one specific kid who may or may not even be that good. He's barely played enough to say whether he looks like his father or not. Call back when he's 17 or 18 and we have an actual body of worthwhile tape to look over, and enough games to build statistically significant analyses on.

Don't I think Bronny and Zion would go good together? No idea, because we have no idea what a mature Bronny will look like.

If you're looking at kids who are currently in high school but are more 'realistic' targets who would go fantastically with Zion, there's no need to resort to tanking for that long and hoping for Bronny. Just play things out naturally, suck if you suck, and trade assets to get Cade in the 2021 class.
    Basketball.

He’s a freshman in high school. Not our concern for a while.

Can’t seniors enter the draft now though?

I can't pretend I'm an expert on that, but I'm pretty sure that that's not for a little while (2021 draft, I think? when high school players become eligible again). For right now, you can only reclassify into the year above if

    A) You want to
    and
    B) You're of a certain age/birthday falls within a certain area

Again, can't pretend I'm an expert here but I think that's how it works. Cade, for example, could reclassify to be in this draft class according to what I've heard, but he just hasn't. Which is fine, although a bit of a shame. Cade would instantly make this draft class into a much better one.
