Other than a healthy Zion, everything on his list is unrealistic and is expecting things of players that.....I mean, it really shows a lack of basketball knowledge.

Jrue will never be clutch. It's not his game. He is an all-star at auxiliary things. He's not the killer. He's the guy on the team that does the behind the scene stuff exceptionally well. Let Jrue be Jrue. Trying to make him annumber one is why he's had a down season.

NAW is barely ready to be a regular bench guy.....STARTER?! He had an amazing preseason but has looked meh since then.

Hayes is doing great. It would be stupid to start making him focus on offense when he's just figuring out the game. Let him get a feel for things and work on offensive moves in the offseason.

Less Lonzo on the ball.....that is his greatness. Hahahaha. OMG. He is the best player we have in the ball. Half of his TOs are people not ready for his awesome passes. The Lonzo hate is absurd.

Ellis showed with the article last week that he went into this season with an ignorant mindset that we would be worldkillers. He set himself up for disappointment and then whined about it when his lofty goals weren't met. This article is just more of him setting himself up for disappointment with unrealistic expectations.
    Good positive energy.

    But also, yo mama's fat.

I mostly agree with what you're saying, and I also agree that Ellis is uh... inconsistent when it comes to producing good takes, but I do have to take quarrel with these two things.

Firstly: ''Jrue will never be clutch'', aside from 2 years ago when he was top 10 in clutch scoring, top 10 in clutch efficiency, and had the second or third lowest %age of assisted buckets in the clutch of any top 10 player. Basically, ''Jrue will never be clutch'' is a claim that's made redundant by the fact that he has been, at points in his career, extremely clutch. He's just not now.

Secondly, Lonzo's biggest strength on-ball is his transition game. In the half-court, giving him the ball and telling him to just run it is not a good idea. Citing his turnovers is all well and good, but that doesn't change the fact that him half-heartedly dribbling into an off-rhythm 20 footer is bad offense. It also doesn't fix the fact that he refuses to drive with consistency. Ellis is far from the first person to point out that, despite his high level vision, Lonzo is best used in the half-court as a wing rather than a lead guard, in order to take advantage of his relatively high-quality catch and shoot ability as well as his high-end secondary playmaking without having to resort to the onslaught of grossness that is his ''lead guard'' play.

The Lonzo hate isn't ''absurd'', he's just not very good.
    Basketball.

Start NAW! Rumor has it Josh Gray is tearing up G-League. Call him up. Trade the old farts on our team. The season is lost. Start the rebuild.

Secondly David Griffin thought we would be a playoff team . Obviously it’s rebuild now . Now I need to go check the threads on here saying we were a playoff team.
