Melli's having a bit of a problem converting these wide open threes so far. Kinda surprising but hopefully he gets over it soon. He's had a few good looks.
    Basketball.

Not a fan of Jrue's choice there, he had the smaller man on him. It was either a drive or a shoot scenario. Dribbling into the long two is just a sign of indecision.

  3. #28
Last game, Siakam had 34 on us.

So far, he has 13 points in 5 minutes.

    Niiiiiiice.

The ball should either be in Ingram or Ball's hands.

  6. #31
That was a good offensive possession. Ball actually drove and Jrue hit the off-ball movement to result in the open three.

JRUE DROVE THE RIM AND FINISHED IN TRAFFIC.

Please be a sign of things to come.

Favors on court, lets see how he looks.

  9. #34
Good screen from Favors early. Need to see more of that.

    Love that drive from Hart.

Look no further than this crap for proof that refs call fouls on reputation, not what they see.

  12. #37
Favors with that BIG offensive board and the put back.

Him being healthy (if he is) can be big for us. He's already had a good impact on both ends.

Small sample, but Favors looks a smidgen more spry than before.

He didn't lose all his talent upon being traded to us

Obviously been hampered by his body

Lonzo, you know that FT jumper isn't in your wheelhouse. Just drive, there was no big in the paint.

Lonzo's decision making in the half-court is still a little troubling. In that possession, wide open from three, decides instead to drive it and instantly travels. Turnover.

Lonzo needs to take that wide open three. His made range pull up is pants

Favors: 4 offensive rebounds in 5 minutes.

    D'you think he's okay?

Exactly. For all I have some negative thoughts on his love for 28 foot threes, I'd much rather him take the catch and shoot three than try and dribble into a mid range pull up. Don't want him taking that shot ever, really. Just not something he can do.

I don't think he's the answer at point guard long term. Just too many holes in his game. Seems like a good point guard off the bench kind of guy but not someone you'd want leading the first unit

Similarly, Jrue isn't a championship winning 2 guard either
