Favors seems to be having trouble finishing around the basket.

It doesn't matter. If the makes don't count because they're dunks, and the 15 footer obviously isn't ''around the basket'', then he's 0-1 in your criteria.
That's not even a sample size, that's just one shot.
Whatever.. I say he looks to have trouble scoring if it's not set ups for dunks. Disagree if you want.
In other news, love to be seeing NAW minutes early.
Hart hits the floor hart, slaps the ground, limps off.

Great hands and anticipation from NAW, got that steal. Didn't turn into points but it's just those opportunities.
For real. Some obvious stuff to work on, but a lot went well. Lots of positives to take from that, and we manage to steal the first quarter from the reigning champs on ring night.
Just cause you can’t stand Moore and would rather see someone else get on the floor ahead of him doesn’t make him trash. He’s a vet who has earned his minutes. He’s probably gonna earn very few regular season minutes so the least we could do is give someone who has been nothing but a pro and very good player here some PT in pre season. This would also be very smart if wanting to trade. They obviously know what they are doing a little more then you so quit complaining every game that Moore gets even a minute. If we treat players the way you want that hurts us in signing future players in FA. We have a great reputation always doing the right thing for guys and needs to stay that way.
One qtr down and I don't want to see Moore get another minute. The dude simply adds nothing especially when his shot is off. At least Hart gives us some defensive effort and Jackson can be the same thing but is young and has potential to grow. I just don't see any reason to give more minutes right now.
Defense has looked much better. Maybe a few lapses. But guys played very hard.
Would like to see a little more success from Jrue in the second quarter. Maybe see some Ingram running the PnR with Favors? Just to get a taste for that during in-game action with a quality roll man.

Does Gentry know the regular season has started? I didnt even expect 12 players by the 2nd quarter.
Great defensive possession. Loved Melli on the perimeter before recovering.
