Get the comparison but Hayes is a much more fluid athlete. Was a multi-sport star in high school and has great hand-eye coordination to go with his vertical, agility and insane wingspan...

It doesn't, but some people have latched on to this idea.

For me, the VPOBO spending months talking about how Jrue can be the franchise face, then plastering him all over their Draft images (on the background TV screens and stuff) and tweeting about him playing with Zion doesn't sound like he's gone to me.

His upside is far higher than Capela's. Capela is a rim runner only, and he can be punished on switches.

Hayes has much faster feet and mobility on the perimeter, projects far better as a switch-able defender and has the touch and feel to project well as developing a shot. Capela is Hayes' floor.

True , but why else would you delete all photos of you playing for the pelicans . Maybe we want to keep him, but maybe jrue himself wants to go . I feel like there’s defs some substance behind the idea that jrue won’t be on this roster for much longer .

For sure, though he's bigger and rangier than even Capella. Plus, he's just a better all around athlete-type. It will take a couple of years for sure, as he is behind the curve, but he's a good prospect...

I know people who regularly clear out their social media, sometimes on a daily basis. Jrue didn't just delete Pelicans stuff, he deleted a ton of pics in general.

There's honestly more smoke about Giannis leaving Milwaukee than Jrue leaving here.
