General Greivis coming back to NOLA?

WCS on the Warriors could be a problem.

Not really. WCS is barely a starting calibre player. He's 12/7 on pretty good efficiency. Not a great rim protector, not super switchable like they prefer their bigs, He's okay, and that's good: they need more okay. They have nothing right now aside from their superstars, so okay works, but it's not like anyone should be more worried today than they were yesterday.

Think he's signing with the Mavs.

All Pels fans favorite "one that got away" Quinn Cook is now an unrestricted free agent.

Not that I necessarily think we are in play with him, we only have the minimum to offer (without making some move) and we'd have to dump a player for a roster spot but.... I mean some people were absolutely roasting Dell for letting him go.

I see what you’re saying, but they were able to make JaVale McGee work well. WCS at least has more range than JaVale.

Cook would be our best option as a backup PG.

Those people were being beyond silly though.

We have a glut of guards, most of them better than Quinn Cook. As a team that is currently built around running, defense, length, switchability, and positional versatility, a guy like Cook is a non-factor in my eyes. Not worth the roster spot.

Green won’t sign until Kawhi signs, heck they are probably a package deal.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

A few days ago Green said it was time to maximise his earnings. I don't understand why he's waiting for Kawhi

And he won't be on the same team as Kawhi if he chooses Lakers

We are basically maxed on FA. Might as well pay Miller. Let the man have his bread. Plus, it's good for player relations.

Jabari Parker is still on the market. Since there is a glut at guard, perhaps we should move E'Twaun Moore and try to fill the team's need at forward. A life time double digit scorer who shoots better than 49%, there is speculation that Parker may return to the Wizards at a discounted rate.

Caution: to date he has been a health risk...enter Aaron Nelson.

Since there is only one year left on BI's contract, and because he may well be in demand next offseason in what sets up to be a weak free agency class, perhaps Parker could be an ideal insurance policy in the event Ingram is 'one and done'. Better yet, if by this year's trade deadline, BI refuses to commit to the team going forward, he could be moved so the Pelicans will not lose him without any recompense (ala: Nikola Mirotic). My hope would then be that Jabari could be inserted into the lineup.

Again, I would hate to see Moore go, but the upside and fit of Parker on this team is intriguing.

We have Miller's rights, and can therefore go over the cap to resign him. This does not impact anything else we do.
