    So it's a fire sale...

Mirotic, Randle, and Moore are also being shopped around.. personally I'm ok with this. Mirotic could probably fetch a 1st, or am I wrong?

Jrue should be on the list. He's not a cornerstone player to build around.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Trade them all and get whatever value they can get and start over thru the draft.

Why keep Jrue? He doesn't bring much value to a rebuilding team.

I'd be excited for a complete turnover, coaches GM all of it. I loved this team, Jrue... AD but this chapter has come to an end. Time to start over, and we have alot of no e pieces that could be moved.

Depends how we handle the rebuild.

  14. #14
Yeah. This team might not be "rebuilding" like it's
an era depending on the package we get back. Go for draft picks and sure, but again, the NBA draft is fool's gold. More trash than actual gem. Make a trade for up and coming prospects and get the right staff and this team could be like a Toronto or pastHawks with a bunch of solid play from good young players propelling us.....and yeah....I know we're in the West.

It's only a true fire sale if the GM and coach are thrown in first.

    Waiting with bated breath.

Why keep anybody? What you holding on to most of these for? There isn't much here to build upon. I can only make a case for Frank. Because he's young and has some upside. His potential is unknown.

Jrue could make a contending team that much better
Randle was never staying after this season regardless.
Niko is a 3pt weapon perfect for a borderline to contending team.
    Solo stinks
Moore is nice piece you add to a Utah or Toronto or Denver
Payton is nola kid but could be walking at the end of the year anyway
    Chiek stinks
Okafor is a nice player to keep for now. Maybe move later
Miller is a filler piece in a better assets trade
    Frazier another stinky filler piece
Johnson terrible acquisition who needs to a throw in for salary purposes

We need Demps to negotiate deals at least through the trade deadline.

Gentry should have been fired a week ago. He has never been a good head coach, and Demps deserves to be fired just for hiring him.

Good point. Wouldn't be surprised if they all got the axe the day after the trade deadline. I'm positive Gentry and the players knew. It has just seemed so lifeless the past month or so.

Hopefully they have taken Demps phone away. He should no way negotiate anything other than his severence package.

I don’t know how true this is, but a friend of mine does security for the Pels home games and does a fair amount of chatting with some higher ups. He told me that they have known about this since Elfrid went down. Davis has indicated to some people that he doesn’t “think” he will sign again. If this is true, that had to be a major distraction and I’m sure it didn’t help them want to compete. This all stems from Davis who so many have high value of. He is a big reason why they aren’t confident right now or at all the last couple months.

It certainly fits with the demeanor of Gentry and the players. They just seem deflated. Niko used to have so much energy last season. Jrue seems flat. Gentry looks toasted. I can buy that.

Yep! They stayed quiet so fans will show up. What we are just hearing is old news to the Pels.

Jrue should be traded too we need a complete do over Jrue doesn’t deserve to have to endure that let him go for a good player or picks

Depends on what we net back. Trade with Boston or LAL for Kuzma and friends or Tatum and pals and Jrue helps us contend....actually....Jrue would be an amazing mentor to young players.

Patience, guys. This can go many ways.
