Hmm... Could the Pels be dropping some salary somewhere in order to sign both Payton AND Rondo?
I don’t mind the signing, but if it prevents us from bringing back Rondo then it’s a bad move.

I don't believe this move affects Rondo at all.
I usually only disagree with you on saintsreport but I think E Payton is a younger rondeaux and I think with the right haircut he can be really good as a pass-first point guard

The numbers are not yet known. Neither is what Cousin's number will be. What if Cousins isn't taking as much as we think? Giving us enough room to bring in Payton and Rondo?
I don't know. Either way. This is something. I'm not sure how I feel about Payton's game though. The hair is normal now. Maybe he'll improve his jumper 8 percentage points or something.
