    NBA Darth's Bi-Weekly Rookie Watch (Day 21-40)

    Bi-Weekly Rookie Watch (Day 21-40)

Not going to do a write-up on each player every issue, which would be pretty monotonous. Instead I'll do a quick summary of this issue's findings. As I told you before, CP3 isn't moving from that spot. But as it is, the top 3 haven't changed. Lee and Bynum still holding strong and staying consistent. Sean May made our first jump into the 4th spot. Not that he improved that much or Felton declined, just myself thinking he probably should have been there last time as well. As someone pointed out, Sean May is why you draft "Best Player Available" when the draft starts winding down or your needs are filled. Then we have Felton and Deron Williams who is hot on his feet. Deron improved his entire stat line and would probably improve more if his coach would stop changing the gameplan every week on him. We also see Channing Frye receiving more minutes. You can only hope more minutes equals more production, and with Channing it certainly has. The last big jumper was Amir Johnson, who the Magic seem to favor over Mahinmi. Their starter Charlie Villanueva, is also been solid but it seems Amir is poised to take that job away in the near future. The rest are just rookies in a barrel. Pick one...he can be the tenth guy. There's really no separating the rest. A bunch of mediocre talent at best. Most in that barrel are not surprising but a few had much higher expectations according to there draft status. The main two I speak of is Danny Granger and Monta Ellis. Granger has digressed every week and continues to have shooting problems. The Mavs are hoping the presence of Van Horn will get Danny going in the right direction. Ellis has been playing the 6th man role in San Antonio and just hasn't had that impact they were hoping for as of yet. That being said, these guys are rookies and some take a little more time to develop than others. I fully expect both to have very productive careers.

Hahaha, thanks. Yeah there's only so much one can do with this. I would say that those top four rookies will be staying there the whole season. They are in a different class. And well Chris Paul doesn't even attend class, he's home schooled.

Great job. I know all the stats but it still amazes me how steady David Lee has been so far this season.

Be interesting to see where Bogut fits into here now that he is getting the minutes he deserves. Had a pretty solid sim last sim

Haha yeah I don't wanna talk about how any of the rookies suck. I have one of them.
