On my way home from tour<\/a> I stopped in Lafayette for gas. I saw a Hooters and then I saw their sign and then I saw this written on the sign:<\/p>\n

“Free Beer Everytime the Saints Score a Touchdown.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ouch, Hooters. Saints win big, you give away a lot<\/em> of beer, Saints win, you lose. Anyone else encounter any bizarre “every time we score” type deals that got the business behind it choke slammed on Sunday night? Did Kajun’s Pub<\/a> run out of Jello? Did Pat’s Pub call 50 cabs? Did the Ying Yang Twins run out of crunk? Did Jake Madison<\/a> run?<\/p>\n

If you were in the right place on Sunday night you scored eight free somethings. So, in response to this post <\/a>from Chris Jones on Grantland, I think it’s safe to say that “We” won. I also think that We will beat the Rams by 50 points on Sunday. I’ll be watching from somewhere inside Voodoo Fest placing bets with anyone who will take St. Louis and the points. I’ll also be wearing a Texas Rangers shirt not because I’m a fan, but because I’m into psychological warfare and by the time Sunday comes around St. Louis will have already lost the World Series. <\/p>\n
