With the New Orleans Saints season about to get underway and precious few seconds left before my esteemed colleagues unleash their previews for the upcoming Packers game, this seems like the ideal time to briefly introduce everyone, both on the content and technical side of things.<\/p>\n

Content Producers<\/span><\/h3>\n

Jake Lipsman<\/strong> is a longtime Saints fan who graduated from Tulane University and currently lives in Uptown New Orleans. As an avid follower of the Saints and the NFL, he is excited be able to provide the latest Saints news as well as insights and opinions on what is going on with the team throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Chris Trew<\/a><\/strong> is a nationally touring comedian with one foot in Austin and the other in his hometown, New Orleans. He co-founded The New Movement<\/a> and Studio8.net<\/a> and hosts the Air Sex Championships<\/a>. If he’s not on stage he’s probably thinking about the New Orleans sports scene.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Christensen<\/strong> is a student at UNO and exciting to be writing for Saints247<\/a>. Along with being an avid sports fan, he also performs regularly with Brown! Improv Comedy in New Orleans.<\/p>\n

Dan Lawton <\/a><\/strong>is a freelance journalist and new media strategist. \u00a0His journalism has appeared in the Times-Picayune, The Christian Science Monitor, The Oregonian and The Cutting Edge, the world’s most influential pocket knife blog<\/a>.\u00a0He current lives in New Orleans \u00a0and enjoys playing the bass.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jake Madison<\/strong> is just a sports fan living in New Orleans. He mainly writes about the Hornets at Swarm and Sting<\/a> and has contributed to the soccer blog Beyond the Pitch<\/a>. As a diehard football fan, Jake is excited to contribute to Saints247. Since moving to New Orleans, the Saints have become his second favorite team. He won’t tell you his first just yet, but rest assured it’s not the Falcons.<\/p>\n

Andrew Smith<\/strong> is a media arts specialist focusing in videography and photography. He currently serves that same role at Hornets247. Andrew is a diehard Saints fan who bleeds black and gold.<\/p>\n

I (Joe Gerrity) <\/strong>am a writer for the ESPN, as well as the ESPN affiliated New Orleans Hornets site<\/a>, Hornets247.com<\/p>\n

On the Technical Side<\/span><\/h3>\n

Johnny Brown<\/strong> is a software developer<\/a> and entrepreneur. He is doing his small part to bring about the new mechanical overlords.<\/p>\n

42 <\/strong>is a writer for the New Orleans Hornets<\/a> site, Hornets247.com, as well as one of the smartest men you will ever have the privilege of meeting. (Joe’s words)<\/p>\n
