According to a letter obtained by WWL Radio, Saints and Hornets owner Tom Benson is interested in purchasing the Times-Picayune newspaper.
In the letter dated yesterday, Benson writes to Advance Publications president Donald Newhouse, the owner of the paper and its sister site nola.com, about his interest in selling the paper, which is transitioning from a daily publication to one that will mainly focus on digital content.
