The Chicago Bears come to town to face the New Orleans Saints this September 18th. They will not come alone. The Chicago improv scene invades New Orleans for a weekend with local comedy collective The New Movement (sponsored by this here Saints website, ya heard!). Come see talents from iO, Second City, and pH productions join TNM for an improv collision to rival the Sunday showdown between the Saints and da Bears
There will be three blocks of shows each night featuring famed Chicago comedy duo Tim and Micah, long form Windy City powerhouse Pudding-Thank-You, TNM’s Chris and Tami, Stupid Time Machine, and Dance Crisis. There’s even have a special Chi Town/Nola version of The Megaphone Show, where the performers will be mining stories from Blake Haney, the founder of Dirty Coast for comedy scene. The weekend closes with the graduation ceremony and show of The New Movement Nola’s first ever graduating class.
All shows are at The Shadowbox (2400 St. Claude). Tickets are $5 per show, $10 for the entire night or $15 for the weekend. Sponsored by Saints247!
