Good Stuff

Some clear points of improvement going forward, which is nice. It's always annoying when you play really well and end up still down, it can be a bit confusing as to what you need to do to change things.

The issue of trying to guard Jonas with Zion: about 6 inches of height.

Just a defensive breakdown in transition but honestly that could have been a foul on the steal

Great hand in that passing lane from Kira. The skip had pretty extreme velocity on it and he got the tip

I love how they're letting Zion bring the ball up the court and initiate the offense..

That should have been a foul on the Hernangomez putback

Great move from Kira, really nice stuff. He's so smooth

No other PG on this team hits that skip pass. Kira's the only one. Shame it was Hernangomez in that corner rather than someone who I actually want shooting but hey, still.

I've seen Zion and Ingram do it lol.. But they aren't guards as you say.

Yeah that was the distinction I made on purpose. Bledsoe, Lonzo, Hart, Redick, they aren't making that pass.

Man, I hate when we get something going early and then we put the bench guys in with Zion and just go ''lmao let's see what happens'' for 7 minutes. It never works.

Are we not happy that Stan actually has Zion bringing the ball up court and initiating the offense? I'm hoping that was Stan, and not Zion just doing it on a whim. Zion at the top of the key orchestrating looks really good.

I am very happy! Zion needs on-ball reps to reach his peak. Him being a ballhandler is important for his development.

I actually think he can run pick action as the ball handler. Stan needs to free this guy.

Guess it's safe to say trade rumors, and NAW playing well lit a fuse under Zo lol.. Glad to see him turning it around out there.

Pels up 20 if JJ doesn’t play one minute. This has been long enough to know now that JJ isn’t slumping. He’s a net negative on the court. They will never out score the other team while he is playing.
