I knew Gayle Benson was the right choice by gauging how Saints and Pelicans players/personnel held her in such high esteem.

I never understood why people thought she'd sell and move the team. Mrs B is the entire reason Mr Benson bought the Pelicans to begin with. She WANTED the team.

Sounds like Dennis is the real owner. At least knows the logistics of running the team. Which is okay to me. Gayle seems okay with it obviously too. Smart decision by Gayle. It is a good thing we have Dennis.

I know for a fact that Tom Benson wanted nothing to do with the Pelicans. Gayle is the one who talked him into saving the team with one of her main reasons for all of the people who would lose their job. Tom Benson backed her on the idea and used his power to get in the bidding for the team and fell in love with the Pelicans with her. Anybody that knows this lady would know we couldn’t have our sports teams in the hands of a better owner or person.
