Last season. The bills are not due until the playoffs are over and only lotto teams get points.

So if I was a lotto team last season, am I getting any points for that?

Kind of same here, I totally planned on using those second rounders as backups and rolling with 12 players and then Cassell signed, Outlaw signed, and I forgot about Pape Sow now I have 14 players and am 20 over instead of about 17-18

Hey there are big market teams that try to compete for championships every year, it's what we do.

The fact that being 20M over is the way to compete sucks, but have fun. I'll be collecting some points this year.

Tell that to Houston Astros fans...LAD payroll 214,000,000 HOU payroll 25,000,000.

You don't have to be 20m over to compete from the creation draft I went after veteran players in a win now mode. Veteran players cost more than rookies. My core consists of players I've drafted from the creation draft, rookies from the first few drafts, and MLE players (oh and that big tall fella I traded for). It's a different approach but don't act like it's a wrong one or unfair one.

Never said it was wrong or unfair. I just said I'll be collecting some points. If anything, I want you to spend more money. I could use points to train my young guys.

My bad then I read the out of control comment wrong. I'm a little defensive about the cap...could be way worse I nearly accepted Donyell Marshall at a contract similiar to Eddie Jones'
