I think there are many more players out there with Morant's potential and skillset to choose from than there are Zion's.
I certainly acknowledge I can get burned on this one if the potential fizzles on the court, on the bathroom scale, or in the Orthopedist's office.
im on record on that draft day thread that i would pick ja over zion....reason being i want my dominate players at the 1-3 positions plus in todays game i feel its easy to build a good team around dominate guards and wings.....the last 20 years the title has been won by teams with their dominate players at the 1-3...i dont count lebron and AD in that damn bubble with 5 months of rest.....
i just see ja and ingram as the best duo with the best chance to win a title.....i wish we could have found a way to draft ja and zion......taking connerly off their hands and giving up lonzo and our picks that year and future picks may have entice them but we never know.....
