March 3rd - Pelicans at Warriors (31-32)

I feel dirty making the gameday thread but we are 10 min away. Flock up!

I'm less excited for the game and more excited to see our 4th quarter death lineup again!

Things I'm looking for:

Dyson + CJ lineup
Jax min
BI and Kira pace

Let's get this W!

Trey with the start. Interesting. Willie starting small.

So it looks like Val is the weakest link.

lets see how they respond to this Warrior run....

It's amazing how much Draymond gets away from these refs, he should have been t'd already with the way he barks at them

Totally agree on Dray

Dyson's minutes are sooooo good. He does so much without scoring. It will be interesting to see what he turns into when he starts looking for his shot.

I hate to say it but I can see in Willie's face expression that he's a bit flustered.

He's Lonzo Ball on Steroids (and Lonzo was 2nd overall pick). Lonzo didn't have a shot when he came into the league and neither does DD. BUT, I think there's a lot more to work with DD....less bad habits to correct.

im glad CJ is engaged on defense for now...

knew naji was going to step up with extra playing time with richardson being out...

and watching jax put his hands up on defense and not jumping to get called for a foul is good to see....

Knowing Willie's that'll probably be the last we see of Hayes tonight.

If we lose this game, it's squarely on Willie's shoulders. Why either Dyson or Kira is not in right now is criminal.

I'm getting tired of saying that NBA refs are the WORST in all pro sports

Not being able to defend the 3 is killing us in the last 4 min of the 4th. Willie even called a timeout to get them right on it. That's on the players.

Willie ******** the bed again.

Dude can’t coach game to game.

Under 4 min we have got equal parts poor offensive play calling a poor player execution. This was a very winnable game. Tied going into the last 6 min and then we fell apart

BI ultimately cost the game . All he has done tonight was kill momentum.

cant beat beat them at their game when we are giving up hustle plays...

He won the last game and lost this one.

Can't make shots ------- Can't win games

Team will always be inconsistent as long as the stars do what the Pels does. Score 40 one game and then play horrible the next.

Lewis 9pts in 10mins...he had it going and should have stayed with him...

they took ingram out of his game tonight...the refs added to it by letting him get beat up when he was attacking...

Our team is to dependent on 2 players CJ and Ingram combined for 37 attempts the rest of the team 40 combined. On a positive note we are that much closer to Zion coming back.

This game wasn?t on Willie. He has two ?stars? that are a detriment to his coaching. They don?t do what he preaches. All BI had to do this game was take what was given to him. He forced everything and it got to his head. Willie has to develop and authority that these guys stop killing the momentum with horrible shots. Not to mention, that CJ just refuses to stop the person he is guarding.

The team has basically been the Hornets since Zion went out. Probably worse

I hope Griff and Co. have an honest assessment of this roster this upcoming offseason. This team is lacking in a LOT of areas.

Amount of long range, over defender, two's this game was too low for us to be able to win this game :rolleyes:

After nice 1 quarter I knew that the Pelicans will find a way to screw this up? and they DID.

Ingram will never get the respect until he can string together multiple games in a row of excellent play. He usually disappears the next game after a good performance. That said, the referee abuse he takes is ridiculous. We have nobody on the team who gets even close to the superstar treatment like Ja, Trey Young, Harden or Luka. I won't return to buying season tickets until the refereeing gets fixed.....

Yep that's the one positive thing im hopeful Griff took notes on with how the team just went down hill. He didn't do anything during the offseason and he barely did anything on the trade deadline.

Looks like this team has managed to demoralize everyone again. Hopefully, we can get Josh back to help defend Fox.
