He is out for sure
Pelicans coach Monty Williams says Tyreke Evans has a "new" knee injury and will have an MRI tonight.

Lol at our injury luck...can't make this up
ummm... not looking good for Wolve'Reke
Tyreke told @ESPNSteinLine "I never felt nothing like that before." About his sharp knee pain. Doesn't sound good.

Out for season
OMG ****ing luck
its bad, but we showed tonight we can deal without with jrue and cole
Why us?? Just why???
are you freaking kidding me.
Did we find anything out yet?
No news yet although I'm sure he's already had the MRI. I don't take that as a good sign. I'd like to be wrong.
Has this board learned nothing from past times where we tried to play Armchair Doctor and try to diagnose injuries, project timetables, etc?
Let's just relax and wait for the news.
Well I just did my own research(WEBMD) and a pop followed by a sharp pain usually could mean something is torn. I'm not a doctor so I will just wait and see.
Get well soon Reke !!

I'm guessing the Pelicans have some kind of practice today w/ some sort of media availability... and if they do... on a scale of 1-5 the chances Monty says anything useful about 'Reke's injury? you know someone will ask
but you have to figure word's got to leak out about it at some point today
Just remember, last week Paul George felt a pop in his knee too, something he had never felt before. . .it ended up it was a strained caff.
This could be anything or nothing. There will be an update at practice. Let's just wait and see what happens.
I hope "no news is good news" and Reke back to his normal shell tomorrow.
MM sound unusually claim, maybe he know sth?
Not that im a doctor but 3 years ago I was playing volleyball and I felt a pop and had a little pain and it turned out to be a torn meniscus.
Evans is DTD, he isn't limping at practice called it a "sore knee"
no word on MRI, though
He hasn't been able to run full speed yet, but said the pain is better than yesterday. I am kind of hoping they sit him for Game 2, so they can have him for Game 3 and beyond. That's over 120 hrs of rest and rehab since the injury occurred. Should be enough
I believe that big chunk of games he missed was a knee sprain. Sprains are ligaments, strains are muscles. Both are tears and graded by severity. Either can be played through depending on how bad. Pain tolerance of the individual is also an important factor as well.
Edit: Double post
now that this is back up... 'Reke is questionable tomorrow w/ a deep bone bruise... basically a pain tolerance issue... and as we all know the Wolve'Reke... if it's his decision at all he'll play
For Game 2 vs.GSW - Tyreke Evans (left knee contusion) is QUESTIONABLE.

I Love the Wolvereke!
Ok i coined this name. I lost out on the Blender name, not this time. I invented Wolvereke dammit!
I've just invented Anthony Davisaurus.
lol tyreke isn't human.
Whether he makes it back for this series or not doesn't really mean that much to me. The best news from this is that this is not the type of injury that should affect him in the offseason and going into next season.
i'd sit jrue out just to be safe & leave it up to Tyreke on how he feels
