Mmmm mmmm yummy!
Now only if we can bring back in the last piece,
Juju Wright!
Would love to see him back in time to lock down Steph Curry in Round one.
April Fools :hihi:
We are the favorites to win it all now unstoppable 10 man rotation coming soon
Joel Meyers seemed like he thought Jrue could return on the road trip.
I want to hear the update on what his LA doctor said...
Any update on this? I havent seen anything
Well...who is kind of wishing that he had the corrective surgery to fix this problem back in January. It would suck the life out of me if they announce surgery. Which means he'll probably miss a good chunk of next season too.
He will play before the year is done. I am willing to make a friendly wager on this
Pelicans coach Monty Williams says still no timetable for Jrue Holiday. Did admit he had hope the PG would have been back this past week

Wow that sounds like a setback to me.
No timetable probably means he is not coming back anytime soon
Wtf
not trying to get too high or too low on this - Ryno went from 'no timetable' to playing pretty quickly
Wow that sucks this looks like it'll be a long term issue in his career now. He really cant get over this fracture.

Figured you guys may need cheering up.
I'm just glad to hear that he's playing two on two and doing more each day. Just hope that his injury won't become chronic, by bringing him back to soon. Steph Curry had some ankle problems a few years back that had people wondering if he could ever return to the court...You see how that worked out. So, I'm hoping for the same for Jrue.
Feh.
I'm gonna take some methodology I've mocked in the past and expect the worst so I can feel doubly good if something goes wrong. But also get to feel right about something if not.
Win-win for me!
Ditto, I'll take this wager as well.
I am of the believe that this will be a chronic, and on going issue for Jrue. IMO we need to trade him ASAP.
Great player -check. Spent 50% of the last 2 years on the IR - check. Reasonable to assume this will become chronic - check.
Stress fracture is basically a weakness in the bone. How can this be true and not be re-occurring? While I have read on this board that there is no propensity to re-occur, that is simply not true. THEY DO OFTEN RE-OCCUR. Think about it, you have a bone weakness, at a place in your body that takes a TON of stress. Basketball players run, cut, shift, and stop about as much as any sport. This is, once again, putting constant and continual STRESS on a weakened bone. I can't be the only one who thinks this will be ongoing for the rest of his career? Can I?
Multiple months for a few "hot spots" and "swelling" -- not good. Having a stress fracture happen in basically the same spot you just had surgery to repair..... not good.
As for Jrue playing... even if he was healthy.... why would he play? To re-injur himself? To mess up all of our rotations and the good basketball we are playing?
I keep seeing how we need Jrue back, and Reke can't do this....blah blah blah.
IMO, we wouldn't even be sniffing the playoffs with Jrue not getting injured. It has always been stated that we had an odd man out at the G position, well to me, that player is Jrue.
He is probably our 2nd best player, but so what, I don't like his game, and we have a losing record with him playing over the last 2 years.....
Trading Jrue would make no sense. No team is willing to give up anything to get him at this point. You're buying high and selling low.
People can be aggravated or whatever that he hasn't been able to stay healthy but he absolutely makes us a better team and the ONLY option I see at this point is to hope for the best. Trading him will get you next to nothing. Hope he can stay healthy and be happy that we have Tyreke in case we need him to play point.
Jrue may have surpassed Gordon as the most injury prone player on the team.
Wait Jrue did get surgery last year? Really? I thought opted they out of surgery and went with rehab?
Hopefully, he doesn't come back slower and less athletic.
You guys are all taking this quote and running with it the wrong way. You will see.
Let's talk again this weekend.
For all those willing to take my friendly wager - if I am right and he plays before the regular season is over, you have to leave 3 sincere, positive comments about Monty and Asik on this board every day for a week. What you got for me?

My suggestion for the new avi.
Not sure how informed John Reid with NOLA.com is but it is getting harder to optimistic about Jrue's return when nothing but bad news is reported:

That's the only face Gordon can physically make.
Who is this Jrue Holiday you speak of?
You guys should have 4 way tourney... rivers, stiemsma, salmons, henry.
Misa Campo
ETA: Actually it's not. Still, you won't go wrong searching for Campo
ETA 2: Spent waay too long searching for the right girl, I've seen her before too... this is frustrating dammit
ETA 3: If anyone's seen her before, feel free to add to the conversation for scientific purposes
Monty makes it sound like he COULD play, but they don't know how effective he'll be after missing so much time. The fact that there's only 6 games left is a factor as well.
Quote:
'I know we don't have as many games left, but my hope is that he can play this year and help us,'' Williams said. ''Even if it's in a limited role. I hate to say day to day. But it does have that kind of feel, especially when you have limited games to go. I still don't know. I hope it's tomorrow.
Lead off with that next time so I can save some time by not reading the entire post. You dont like that he plays elite defense? And hustles on every play? You dont like that he is the best all around guard on our team, that can mesh with any line-up? It's just astonishing how "what have you done for me lately" this forum is. Yes, the guy is injured and has been for longer than he has ever been. Yes, mostly everyone on this forum is worried about his injury being a future problem. But to say things like "we wouldnt even be sniffing the playoffs with jrue not getting injured" and then saying "he is probably our second best player" is just plan ignorant, honestly. And also to say "we have a losing record with him playing" is also a weak arument knowing how few of games our starting 5 have played
