2-6. Gun back on head?

Can we make any real calls this early in the season? Teams change so much that you can never really know which combo is going to produce the correct chemistry. People freak out a little early most of the time. Stay the course to all those who believe in what they are doing...except the Celtics. May need to deal Shaq while he is injured.

Utah is the surprise of the league. I felt they were a playoff team last year, but they've figured it out so far this year. I've always liked their roster.

This might be awful but at least I have my pick maybe rondo with this team would be just a little less terrible. Or everyone is on the block...ledge meet Conroy

You're right, Tray, but it is just bewildering to watch a team go 5-2, not change anything, then go 2-6. I was beating last year's playoff teams in the first sim too. Just didn't make a lot of sense.

My team is so inconsistent. lol Beat the Celtics(which with my front court is amazing) and score only 68 against the nuggets. haha

The parity is really unreal. Very competitive league now. Have to give bojangles, the commish, and balls credit for what they do every season.

Conroy is a really good GM as well, just having some bad luck right now.

I think I'll be a contending team for a lower seed this season and then will have nowhere to go but up.

You played different people who had different gameplans. Hell for the most part my slow pace worked to my favor, except against Beeball and Trell who I only assume played a fast pace. Sometimes the matchups will not be in your favor.

Can't really play to matchups during the season. Find out what works best for you and then what doesnt. Playoffs is when those matchups come to play.

That happened to me two years ago. In the first sim, I went 5-3. Didn't change anything and in the second sim I went 1-9. Never recovered after that.

I agree with that. That's what I do as well.

BTW, didn't change my trap settings and Jefferson's fouls went down by itself.

The same thing I do every year Pinky, try to take over the division!!!

But seriously, this game is all about having the right game plan, and i like to play with mine too much in the beginning of the season. Iwont be settled till the All-star break (usually) anyway. No point in panicking before then.

So my adjustments appear to be amazing. 6-1 Kenyon is THRIVING with my adjustments. Looks like he plans on giving Camby some competition this year. Moving Beans back to starter looks like a great move. I took Danny off of scoring options and put Deron there. Deron is looking much better and Danny definitely didn't like not being am option anymore but he'll have to deal with it.

Also it appears someone on the Rockets had to injure Deron to win. But he's not on my injury report so hoping he just missed those few games.

I did what I had to making sure I don't lose to the Mavs. It was Brad Miller off the bench. He's my goon.

This was a great week going 5 and 4 considering the schedule

traded road wins with the Lakers
beat the Hornets on the road
beat the Jazz 1 out of 2 on the road
beat the pistons on the road
traded home wins with the suns

Ray Allen 29ppg
won despite a few injuries.

Where can I find the amount of Points I get for a high number of rebounds, points etc.? Also do I claim my points for Jalen Rose as MIP now?

You get points for entire season accomplishments and team accomplishments. Not on a game by game basis.

Yeah that was abolished at the beginning of last season

Hey, anybody have any ideas on how I can improve my defense? We're a distant second in scoring (1st is the almighty Hornets), but we give up more points than I'm comfortable with.

I'm not sure personally but maybe slower tempo and more frequent traps? Or maybe less traps, not sure.

Commish messed up my DC I had Murray at starting 3 and Griffin at the backup 2. Not that I care because it was a great sim for me.

Yeah, I thought it could be just a side effect of my frenetic offense. Still worries me though.

Jason Williams was out for our game. Don't think it was the deciding factor but it was something.

not like it matters. I still say you have about the same odds of winning the championship this year as the Heat do the real one.... but then again sim league does some crazy things.

Damn camby played like **** this sim. Jamison upped his scoring but I want more offense. This team needs to play better.

I'm impressed with your team. Thought it would take another year to be a factor, but you're most certainly a factor already. CP has revived Ray's career.

Yea I think the most important thing is that I LIKE this team. This is how I'd Ideally build a team. I'm a 3 and D wing player and a shot blocking defensive anchor away from it being my dream team: A playmaking point guard surrounded by 3 shooters: a dynamic wing scorer, A defensive ace and a skilled power forward, combined with a down low force on both ends.

There's a little different build that i like for my team, but i don't see any reason to change what I have. I'm pretty happy with everyone. Iverson seems to be struggling the most w Duncan, but I'm ok with that.

3-1 with a win over the Grizz. Im down with that.

That's a good sim. You've only played 3 homes games as well. If you find a scoring PF or SG, you're gonna be really tough to beat.

Its safe to say winter definitely "came" for Lord Snow in this episode (:
This episode as a whole is definitely one of my favorites out of all 3 seasons, the ending scene was amazing, great plot twist.
