The thought of this game makes me sad.

Def an emotional game for the fans and many of the members if the organization as a whole, not so
Much for any of the hornets players except maybe Jason smith who's been with us the longest.

One step closer to Pelicans, can't be mad at that... Can't wait to see what the future holds.

Saddest day as a Hornets fan, I've been following the team from Barcelona since the '98s. I used to like the team because of the name, the mascot/logo, the unique colours and because by that time my bro was following them since some years ago and playing with them in a bball game. (LJ, Mourning, Bogues, Curry...)
I remember I still have a carpet with Glen Rice on the cover, and BJ Armstrong, D. Wesley, B. Phils & Divac on the back.

When I was younger, I just could watch the highlights of the games they were showing on a nba dedicated program off a local tv channel. But with the pass of the time, the globalization and the sources that allowed to easily follow NBA (like league pass) I've been watching most of the games of the Hornets since 4 years ago.

The changing of brand, name and logo from Hornets to Pelicans was really tough for me, with the pass of the months I learned to accept it and will follow the team through. To be honest, now I can't wait to see the new unis, the logo is looking pretty good.

Anyway, with this move going ahead, I don't know if it will ever be the same though, time will say.

I've loved the Hornets my whole life because I was a huge Muggsy fan growing up. The Hornets will be missed, but I'm excited for a new beginning.

There's a talent deficit on this team . I rag on Monty alot , but I'll admit this team suffers from talent at the 1,3, & 5 spots . I don't know what's our biggest need the 1 or 3. But I do know Vasquez/Aminu are not starters in the NBA
