Also, congrats on a great season P78. I'm stunned at how well my team performed this series. Once you get Melo a little help man your team is gonna be nasty.

Great regular season. Disappointing playoffs. Not much more I can add to be honest right now. Need Jefferson to improve quickly because Manu doesn't appear to be a number two guy. He was terrible this series.

I guess I have the 15th pick. lol

I added 2 quality chuckers that score high due to volume shooting. Vlade and McKie never commanded the ball yet filled their roles perfectly. I tried to up my scoring when I was already #2 in scoring... I outsmarted myself and paid the price of hanging out with Tray, PaulyP, Make It Rain, Soundwave and Zolinho in the Central Off-Seasoners Club

If it makes you feel any better, I kept everything the same which helped me go on a tear in the second half and still got shellacked in the first round.

You became a huge piece of the West titans really, really quickly. Your team is downright scary. You have Jefferson still on the bench. Next year it'll be time to start him and make Etan Thomas a 6th man at the 4 and 5 spot. I think you and Quail's teams are in that same boat. Really came into prominence a year earlier than expected. Next year was when I personally expected runs by you both. You may waznt to do something about the PG spot, not sure how you feel about Stout.

I'm hoping Jefferson does start because I'm gonna use the two training sessions on his defense. He needs to be my number two option because I don't think Manu can cut it. My team went 18-8 without him and plus he didn't show up in the playoffs. (Makes me wonder if I should give him a max offer after next season). I'm also gonna use my points to train Etan as well so he can improve more on his 12/11/2 because I still have two years invested on him on his big contract. At the least, it could make him more attractive for a trade.

I'm probably gonna keep Stout since he's on the last year on his contract and hope that Livingston continues to develop. Livingston's per/36 minutes were 12 points, 8 assists, 4.5 boards, and 1.5 steals. He gets two training sessions which I'm gonna use on his defense and perimeter shooting. I'm hoping he can start after Stout's contract expires.

I have about 11 million in cap room this offseason which I'm gonna use on the bench but save some to resign my star players.

As far as the series against Minny, the only thing I can think of where I went wrong was pressing too much. Probably should have done sometimes instead of normal because they were going at a very fast past pace which neutralized the press. If I were you, I wouldn't press much at all since you have good defenders across the board.

A Few Things.
1. Remember you can only train Jefferson once during the offseason. You can train him 3 overall times, but only once per "training period". you'll just have to wait until the ASG for the second one.
2. Personally if I were you in that series, I would have started Jeff after Bradley went out and made him the #2 scoring option. That's just an opinion though.
3. Manu creates a lot of turnovers for you. Your team creates the third most turnovers per game. Losing him takes a big bite out of what you do well.

I didn't realize that about the training. I thought the rookie trainings were in addition to the 3 training, but that's cool.

I thought about changing my starting lineup. Going small with Jefferson and Rodney Rogers. I regret not having Anthony Avent on my active roster. He was my best defensive PF. I could have started him against Boozer or gone with Okafor at PF against Boozer and started Jefferson at center. Etan didn't provide much that series. Boozer had a big series overall. Marbury went off against Stout as well, but I couldn't do anything about that.

Yeah, I can't replace Manu right now, especially with his defense. I'm hoping he continues to improve offensively so he can become a 20 point scorer even though it may be hard playing next to Melo.

17 a game for Manu with Jeff and Melo would be good. That's what i'm trying to do vs the Wolves. Put Ben Wallace on Boozer to make him work and attack the inside with Gasol. We shall see if it works or not.

Are you going with an inside focus and if so will you go with Gasol as your number one scoring option since he's your highest rated inside scorer?
