By the way, I see a lot of stereotyping in this thread, but Al Jefferson is a totally decent defender. Last year, his defensive rating was 103, and this year it's 104 - very respectable numbers for an offensively minded big. He also shoots a TS% of 52.3%, which is very respectable/good considering the volume he shoots. His TO% is great (means he doesn't turn the ball over), and his WS/48 is terrific at .150 (even better last year at .173).
My only problem with him is I don't know what we'd do in late game situations with Jefferson, Davis, and Anderson. I can't see us spending on a big man like that who would expect to play late game situations. That's why I like J.J. Hickson, because he can give us great minutes, but wouldn't be in late.
