Tonight we take on the AD-less, Lebron-less Los Angeles Lakers; we are down JJ and potentially Lonzo as well.
I'm not really going to recount any of the Lakers statistics because without Lebron and AD, any statistics have essentially zero bearing on how the Lakers actually look in this game.
For us, we're 7th in ORtg at this point and 28th in DRtg, still one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA. So while the Lakers offense is largely defanged it's not like we're a difficult target to score on; alternatively, you might see this as an opportunity for us to hone in defensively on a non-potent target. Who knows?
Otherwise I just hope we play hard and can pick up a win against a softer target; knowing the Pelicans, though, that's no guarantee.
