Say Michael Jordan made us the same offer that the Golden State Warriors did in 1993 and offered us the number two pick and three future first round picks for Anthony Davis. Would you take it and would would you take with the second pick?

Are these 3 future 1sts unprotected?
Man no 2 or 3 players in this or next year's draft is worth giving up AD. Wait good question... are they unprotected? lol.
This thread. Really irrelevant!

if they offered this years 2nd, and 3 more 1st round picks unprotected, which will be top 5 picks because they are doomed to suck forever i think i might have too...
next year with our pick and their pick u could possibly land andrew wiggins or jabari parker to play SF and randle to play PF. plus u have 6 more first round picks in the next 3 years, ya i would have to do it, sorry.
u would also be able to take otto porter and trey burke this year.
I'd be scared to be involved with anything Michael Jordan (as an owner or GM) has anything to do with. With our luck, those future drafts will be the most suckingest in NBA history. :hihi:
Jeff Bower is gone folks, I'm glad we got A.D. Why would some of you think like this?
No.
Unless something has changed, you can't trade 1st round picks in back to back years, or this fantasy trade is even more fantasy.

Quote:
The Magic will receive Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic, rookie swingman Moe Harkless, forward Josh McRoberts, forward Christian Eyenga, a first-round pick from either the Nuggets or the New York Knicks in 2014, a protected first-round pick from the Sixers, a protected first-round pick from the Lakers in 2017, a second-round pick from the Nuggets in 2013 and a conditional second-rounder from the Lakers in 2015.
I think they did but they got them from different teams. The teams that traded a first round pick this season can't do it again next season. At least that's what I think GeauxPelicans means. If Charlotte wanted to give us first round picks they won't be able to do it in consecutive years. I think.
ok i see
So you(Guru) want to trade A.D. for a bunch of draft picks?
Only if the team would have concerns about Davis's durability going forward as he puts on weight.
Otherwise... no. I believe Davis will be the best big man in the league by the time he's 23... probably even sooner. I don't think anyone will be even close except maybe Dwight Howard. Davis's teams will dominate the league during his prime so long as he has another all star caliber player on his team.
Getting future picks doesn't guarantee anything. This draft class is weak. Next year's is supposed to be strong... but so what? Shabazz was supposed to be this superstar and look what happened. There's no guarantee Wiggins or Parker will be that great in college once they play against better competition... and then there's no guarantee the team would even get the #1-3 picks... especially when it's coming from a team that has a non-rookie Anthony Davis on their roster. There's a decent chance the Hornets would only get one, if any, lottery picks beyond this season.
I would but then again I don't think Davis is a superstar. Anybody who doesn't agree with my opinion answer has to be no. Superstars are worth any three players. Not to mention there's no guarantees we win the 1st pick next year.
Well we already know you would. You'd trade Davis for a bag of Funyuns.
