I normally don't get into trade stuff, but in this case, I tried to find a way to tie existing trade rumors, known financial pressures, and a general knowledge of teams and players to get a deal that largely shuffles deck chairs in terms of players, but gives each team involved some key pluses.
I have no reason to believe that this is best of such trades, but I made it to show that a deal for Gordon does not have to bring back albatross contracts or total projects.
My hope (stated in the linked article) is that others use similar thinking to come up with a new vein of trade ideas.
