Disappointed. I'm not a big second-guesser of GMs, but I am somewhat of a believer in the collective wisdom of fans who have watched a guy play for a while, particularly if the opinion is negative. And Salmons has been, for about the past five years, universally detested by every fan base who has encountered him. I don't remember the last time I heard anything positive about him. I don't anticipate it will be better here. I also worry that Tyreke Evans is our best option for defending big wings. That isn't ideal. In general, it's just a weird choice. He isn't appreciably better than replacement players. The upside is that it's a 1 year deal. The unfortunate part is that, like last year, we will play a very bad player for considerable minutes and in close games I think that will make a difference.
