Lillard is such a ridiculous shot maker, if you don't trap or blitz him at 30 feet you're in danger
I really hate this style of game...
Team A comes out hot
Team B gets carried by the FT and keep game close enough
Team B steals late game
Team A finally starts getting to the FT line.
This happens wayyyy tooo often.
Everyone's hot. McCollum, AD, Melo, everyone. I think there's just been like 8 consecutive made baskets between those three.
I think that's game.
There's been a really weird thing happen in these playoffs.
In the regular season, before the bubble, the Lakers were a top 5 defense in the NBA. In the bubble, their defense suddenly sucked, and it's been mediocre in the playoffs too. They're constantly giving up opportunities for good looks.
Which is why it's super weird that Portland just don't seem interested at all in looking for those opportunities. They just give the ball to Lillard or McCollum and go ''hey figure it out''.
FT disparity 41-16 for the Lakers.

Lebron has been in the league for 40 million seasons
''This game clearly over'' they say, LA up only 10 with 32 seconds left, and I have T Mac flashbacks.
It's like teams dont do a good job on the AD scouting report.
When he's out on the perimeter, just prepare your self for the forthcoming jump shot. He's not a break you down, blow by guy.
No need to go for the jab step. No need to reach. No need to back up. Get your hands up and prepare for the J.
Jeez.
Wow... 1st team to be eliminated.. 76ers. They are about to start The Process Part 2.
All that talent means absolutely nothing if the fit isn’t right. Elton Brand single handedly destroyed the process.
Playoff P must of missed the memo. It's the playoffs.
Leonard could of easily BTB with the Raptors. Maybe even 3 Peat.
All because he wanted play in Cali. Odd.
Lol at Doncic putting up 36/15/12 on 60% shooting in this game.
Dude's just ridiculous
Just for the record I missed the first half of this game, so I just looked at the box score and
PG13 has 7 points on 2/16 shooting and is 1/7 from 3.
Dude *sucks* in the playoffs, so hard.
Overtime.
Kawhi is so good lol
Burkes with all the world's dribbling for nothin
Burke has been huge here for the Mavs.
Sixers cut him, I think.
Doncic ties it with 50 seconds left. He's got 38
Luka has 40 to take the lead with 19 seconds left.
Clips up 1 with 9 seconds remaining.
DONCIC SINKS THE BUZZER BEATER FROM 30 FEET TO WIN
43 POINTS TO SNATCH THE GAME FROM THE CLIPPERS AND TIE IT AT 2-2 ON THE SERIES
WOOOOOW
After Oscar Robertson and Barkley, Luka becomes the third player in NBA history to record a 40/15/10 game in the playoffs.
He's the only one to ever record 43/17/13, which is what he had.
Did it on 58.1% shooting, and hit the buzzer beater go home shot in overtime.
This is real time legacy establishment. Luka is on a path to all-time-great status, and he is 21 years old. I was too young to watch early career Lebron: by the time I was into basketball, he was already in Miami. But I imagine this is what watching him must have been like.
I have never been wowed by Lebron the way I’ve been with Luka. Doncic is scary.
I think the difference is (based on watching old Lebron games back) that Doncic is the best offensive player at his age, maybe ever. But Lebron's defense at 21 was so much better than Doncic's that it's unbelievable, and so as an overall player Lebron was probably slightly better at 21 despite Doncic being the superior offensive player.
But the fact that we're even having this conversation is insane.
Paul George: “To be honest, in hindsight, if I shoot the ball better, this series would be a lot different.”

This is the funniest thing he could have possibly said.
Luka Doncic with +110% win probability added in this game.

That's the 3rd best performance in a playoff game in the play-by-play era, edging out performances by both Kawhi *and* Paul George, now at #4 and #5.

I don't understand this stat so I can't say if it's any good or not but still, this just sounds impressive.
Dallas is now tied 2-2 with the Clippers in a 4 game series where
- Porzingis, their second best player, has missed a game and a half.
- Luka was injured in game 3 and could barely play in the second half.
- Maxi Kleber (a 38% 3pt shooter on 4+ a game in the regular season and major rotation piece for Dallas) has shot 1/16 from 3.
- Kawhi has been excellent.
If Porzingis and Doncic can stay healthy, and Kleber can go back to anything like normal, I could see Dallas stealing this series.
How insane is that?
This kid is.... indescribably good
Paul George so far this series, through 4 games:
Game 1: 27/2/3 on 10/22 shooting (45.5%), 4/11 from 3 (36.4%), 3/3 from the FT line (100%).
Game 2: 14/10/2 on 4/17 shooting (23.5%) 2/10 from 3 (20%), 4/4 from the FT line (100%).
Game 3: 11/9/7 on 3/16 shooting (18.8%), 1/8 from 3 (12.5%), 4/4 from the FT line (100%).
Game 4: 9/8/3 on 3/14 shooting (21.4%), 1/7 from 3 (14.3%), 2/2 from the FT line (100%).
Averages: 15.3/7.3/3.8 on 27.3% from the floor, 20.8% from 3, 100% from 3.
In-freakin-credible.
His TS% is about 41% right now. League average this year was 56% ish. He's actually averaging fewer points per 36 than Marcus Morris.
Start calling him Pandemic P.

Toronto took care of business. Now lets open up the Jrue Holiday trade lines.

You actually don't. I've talked about it before in other threads and I won't go into it too much here because it's the wrong thread, but you don't actually have to trade Jrue at all. If you get the right deal, go for it, but we're under zero obligation to move him. If the Nets can't make a good enough deal, you don't move him.
Gobert trying a three sixty scoop layup lol. Almost an airball
Jokic just faked Gobert into oblivion for the dunk
Gobert with the movingest of screens
Jokic has the highest arc ever on that
Millsap owning Ingles in the post
