If we make the playoffs now then I believe either the warriors or spurs will not be too enamored to play that front court.

One of the biggest things this trade also does is give us the rebounding we sorely need.

I want Asik and Ajinca gone. Gotta find a way to get them moved or buyout.

Frazier is playing PG with Jrue at SG? That's what I heard. I like this very much. We still have Cunningham and Diallo but what are we going to do about the bench? We need another killer guard.

just logged on to say this is FREAKING AMAZING. Assuming this doesn't get done unless Boogie resigns, if we can resign Jrue - this is our core for years to come. AD is 23, Boogie is 26, Jrue is 26. We just got much, much better. Props to Demps.

Didn't MM say we didn't give up the 2017 pick? No we can't trade the 2018 if we traded 2017 for DC. Can't trade 1st round picks in consecutive drafts. You can draft a player for team and trade that player and then trade next years pick, ala Holiday trade.

NBA rules prohibit a team from trading away consecutive future 1st round draft picks, so the Pelicans must keep their 2018 1st round draft pick.

Whoa. Now we could move T-Jones? That's unfortunate. But understandable. His minutes just gut cut significantly. He's not longer part of our finishing 5.

Terrance Jones has screamed loser player the second he suited up for us IMO. Always worried about himself. He's served his purpose.

well, Jones just lost a lot of minutes too. He's been playing very well. Right now is an excellent time to move him.

I just don't see it. Too very high usage bigs together? One of the two will have to fall back on the offensive side. Solo needs to be at least 42% from that corner now.

And if they were going to trade all these picks, it would have to be for a player this caliber. Did no see that as possible but I guess Sacramento really wanted Cousins gone.

Pray it all works out the same.

Biggest question with this trade is...are we able to re-sign?

If not, we essentially just burned 2 first round picks and a second for a rental....and maybe an 8th seed.

You are so right that's why I don't give anyone a hard time about their trades. Good move, now hopefully we have a couple more in the works. I'd Like to see us move Jones and at least one of the centers and maybe even Cunningham.

He won't bring much in a trade. He is an expiring bench player. May only bring a fake 2nd.
