Hope this doesn't slow Davis development down too much. This offseason will be big for him.
Hopefully nothing serious. However, you do know that is the diagnosis usually given before an MRI is taken? Hopefully it is not bad enough to even need an MRI, although I am sure they will do it for precautionary measures. How many times do you hear a player in the lockerroom with a knee sprain only to get a more specific diagnosis later?
We defended- well we didnt really defend. Hell that sums up our defense pretty much. Ad had a block or two but we were **** poor for the most part. Got killed by the mismatches tonight.

gordon with 23-7
Its a sprain he'll be 100% in a couple weeks. He'll be ready for the offseason as will Austin and Smith.
Can't wait to see these youngins develop.
Davis, dont take any more charges, ur too skinny now.
What a disappointment defensively. This is the most points we've given up this year.
Unless the cautionary MRI shows something worse, and with our med staff, his knee could contain a zombie bite, it shouldn't be a problem. He'll be shelved for the rest of the season. Then he should relax at home, jog in a pool for a while. Then get to serious weight training for next season.
Looks like we finish no worse than 5th overall.
How many times do players get injured? Just chill out. It's not the end of world. If anything we can tank like you want. No reason to go all ape **** crybaby on the board because of a freak accident. If Thornton finishes or doesn't try for the crazy play he lands on his feet and all is good.
People called for minutes, and now they are upset he had minutes...
Big time runs happen in this league. The game was not completely out of reach...
Anybody have any idea what is the remaining schedule for the pistons? if they can win 1 more game that would be great
it looks like Aminu will be gone, i see X coming back and compete with Miller for backup SF next year assuming we get a new one.
you think maybe one time an ex hornet won't torch us? maybe when we become the pelicans they'll leave their grudges with the old team...
Man Denver is such an exciting team to watch. They just went off on the spurs
I'm no doc... but I understand there is a test the trainers can do to immediately determine if there is a full tear in the knee
hopefully since they called it a sprain... they did that test and they found the kneecap wasn't floating around in there
They do a series of stretches and pulls on the leg/knee, and depending on how loose certain pulls are can tell them if there is a tear or not. They stretched it out, it wasn't loose, so the diagnosis is no tear, just a sprain (which is a minor tear, but no long term effects, no surgery). That said, they will almost certainly do an MRI to confirm the results, but you can almost always tell if the ACL is torn by the field test.
This is great news. It looked real bad for a second the way MT landed on Davis' knee and pinned it to the ground.
Whats the pistons remaining schedule?
Its been a LOOOONG time since the team with the most ping pong balls won the lottery. You're gonna get the pick you get it doesn't matter where you finish. There's no "AD" in the draft anyway so picking between 3 and 7 won't be such a bad thing. Whoever gets drafted #1 won't be worthy.
23-7 gordon had a hell of a game and hes still not 100 percent.
My bad.
Lol, i'm on the back end of a back-to-back long day (literally)...
But still, our defense was horrendous tonight; but the way they played last night, I could see why they could be exhausted. Anyway, can't do anything about it now. More minutes for Miller would be nice
D-league signee for 10 days to get some minutes?
