Oladipo

Can Gordon be traded straight up for a draft pick without
the Pels having to take on salary?

For example: Suns pick for Gordon since the Suns have cap space?

We draft both Porter, Burke or Oladipo.

I'd do it because im sick of hearing that he doesn't want te be here
and just move on.

As long as both parties are under the cap salaries don't have to match. Worse case we can take on Beasley and Brown. This year Brown is non-guarenteed and Beasley expires the following year.

Just looking around the top 7 or so picks PHX looks like our best chance to move Gordon for a high pick. My understanding is we won't be able to make the trade official until after the draft so we'd have to do a under the table deal where PHX draft Oladipo, Porter, or Burke and trade once we can.

I'd do Brown and their pick for Gordon if nothing else comes up better.
I dont want to take on more salary again and rather take the risk on a rookie
like Dipo then take the risk on Gordon staying healthy until the deadline.

Except phx just canned their gm. Doubt the new guy wants him.

If we can draft dipo and somehow get Bledsoe. Maybe sign brewer

I really think Bledsoe may be our biggest target this offseason.

Just think, right now we have:

Vasquez
Roberts
Gordon
Rivers
Mason
Harris

Would anyone b absolutely shocked if only one of those guys is back? Lots of room for change.

If we end up at 5, we're looking at one of Noel, Porter, McLemore, Oladipo and Burke being there. If at 6, those guys plus Shabazz.

I don't think they go for Len, or if they do it would probably necessitate a trade of Anderson (b/c if they see Davis as a PF long term, it's kind of a waste to have Anderson coming off the bench). Shabazz I could see because he's long enough even at 6'6 to play SF. I don't think they'd pass on Oladipo for either of those guys though. They would for Burke IMO, but it's not likely both guys fall to us.

I think Roberts stays. He was pretty dang good by end of year

Same owner though.

Idk seems like he had a very small gm fan base. One was suns and he was bad.
