Yeah the NFL is more of a tv league while the NBA is an attendance league. Even if the Saints didn't have huge attendance the organization would still have the resources to compete. Especially with the salary cap. The NBA is designed to be a bandwagon sport (thank Stern for that) so it's hard to blame the fans.

I've never rooted for us to lose. People think winning and losing is a switch you somehow turn on and off. You have to breed a culture of winning. Which includes not accepting nights when you have a lack of energy. Not accepting lapses on defense. To break out of that losing spiral is very tough, and that's why I don't think the pro tankers recognize. Losing so much forces you to accept losing. You don't just throw some 20 year old "Nerleans Noel" "Trey Burke" or whatever on your team and just start winning all of the sudden.
